A critical tool for a critical work

Our Safety Latch System is compliant with IMCA guidelines
IMCA, the International Marine Contractors Association, recommends to use ROV hooks fitted with lockable safety latches in its guidelines, (Guidelines for Lifting Operations LR 006 SEL 019 D060 M187 dated March 2018, Art. A1-8)
Our Safety Latch System in use
Our Safety Latch System can be installed on any long shank ROV hook type and size

Built to Meet Safety & IMCA guidelines
During subsea lifting operations, common incidents involve dropped objects.
The hook latch can then be damaged or broken by the rigging, which can also get slack and unhook; leaving the load at risk of being dropped.
IMCA recommends to use ROV hooks fitted with lockable safety latches.
(Guidelines for Lifting Operations LR 006 SEL 019 D060 M187 dated March 2018, Art. A1-8)
Simple and Secure Design
This system is patented by our exclusive partner STPNord
The slide is firmly fixed on the hook shank and the cage slides along, from open position to closed position.
The cage is locked in open or closed position with a spring pin inside the slide.
When on closed position, the Safety Latch System prevents the slack sling to unhook, and protects the latch from damage.

Easy to Use
The ROV friendly sliding cage allows the ROV to easily handle and manipulate the cage.
Increasing track record
Erasing the risk of dropped object, our Safety Latch System has proven operational successes and secured clients recommendations.
